Autumn in the park…

With winter bearing its teeth I thought that I should at least try to slip in one autumn post before it’s 100% all over for another year.

I thought that this autumn coloured tree (unsure of species as I am more familiar with Australian natives) and picnic table by the river made for a lovely and inviting scene for a picnic lunch. Well in my case an image!

  1. Nice one Tony, how’s the reds in the back ground! looks nice and sharp too.

    • Thanks Cleggy – yeah there were a couple more trees there that were rippers that I also shot. No picnic’ing for me! šŸ™‚

  2. Solid Tony, love the hint of the red and the stream!..

    • Thanks Jeremy – not a patch on the deciduous scenes you would see in fall, but still a pretty spot. šŸ™‚

  3. Nice work mate…I am yet to get one Autumn shot tho year…slack eh!

    • hey Slacker – you’ve just been too busy in the warmth and wild rugged beauty of the Kimberley that’s all mate! šŸ™‚

  4. Very nice Tony!

  5. The different shades of green from the trees and the grass as well as the yellows and reds of some other trees give a beautiful colour combo. The flowing water of the creek add to the enlivened feel of the scene, and the faint hills in the distance gives a sense of abundance to the place.
    Love this one mate.

    • hi Mat – thanks once again for your well thought and and emotive interpretation, great feedback as always!
