Forest of contrasts…

This is an example of some spectacular forest regrowth after 2009’s ‘Black Saturday’ bushfires. This type of regrowth may not be all that common, but to see this in the rain with the greens saturated beautifully against the stark black eucalypt trunks.

  4. Nice image Tony, very nicely balanced. Having just printed off a very similar shot to this from my collection, I would have to say metallic ink back mounted on acrylic and floating in a nice frame is the way to go here ;). Looks nice and warm too..

    • Hi Jeremy,

Thanks for the tip mate – that sounds like a winner!

I’ll pop over to your collection for an updated look tonight 🙂

    • Hi Andrea,
Yeah it is certainly one of the vast contrasts between the west and the east (and Tas) that is for sure ! plenty of awesome scenery/landscape everywhere though ! There is something special about the freshness, vibrancy and verdancy of a rainforest.
      cheers,

  6. Nice image Tone, like the contrasts

  7. Stunning Tone and pleased to see it flourishing. Perfect contrasts, the blacks just make the greens pop!
