South coast water…

Another post up… this time from the NSW south coast. Quite a spectacular region and even on this particular morning with overcast skies and coastal showers about, it still looked pretty awesome. I loved the water colour around there. I’ve uploaded a larger file than normal for a bit of a change, I hope that you enjoy it.

  1. Wow that water in the foreground is awesome and dramatic, really like that. I think that the sky and water blend together too much on the left side, the sky is so grey and the water so dark they sort of fade together removing a bit of the impact for me.

    • hey flembot, yeah the drama there was pretty cool – I’d love to see it with a BIG swell !

      cheers,

  2. I looked at the image before reading what you wrote, and instantly thought SE NSW.
Awesome capture, it just sums up that part of the coast so well. And the motion/exposure on the water is fabulous.
    Whereabouts was this shot?

    • G’day Tom – yeah the twilight light sucked with little colour for pretty much the entire trip, so I was pretty keen to make something work this particular dawn. This one was at Bermagui.

  3. powerful image mate.

  4. Awesome moody image Tony, this looks great. The rocks frame the scene nicely, it’s very well composed. Very dramatic, well done!

  5. Stormy ,moody, dramatic. The water receding from the rocks looks great!

  6. Wow, oh wow. I love the water in this image Tony. Fantastic job.
