jaw dropper…

A spectacular sunset in central NSW. It’s moments of light and colour such is this that we landscape photographers dream about. If only we could be treated to displays like this whenever we are waiting out the dead light at those spectacular locations. This jaw dropping display was all too brief and I had to make the most of it. In a region with barely a roadside clearing I opted for this rural scene. I also shot 6×17 and stitches from here that include a silo and an old farm shed. Β  πŸ™‚

so you woulds seen we finally got a decent storm over here huh. haha
can’t let you Vic’s have all the fun πŸ˜›

    • hey Stephen,
Yeah I even tried to use that ‘track’ through the harvested crop as a leading line to that spectacular cloud.
Certainly was a brilliant few days storm wise for SW WA there ! did you get out amongst it or take any images ? or get your car dented πŸ™‚

      cheers,

      • as if… haha.
i heard the weather report of storms- thought of putting camera in the car as I left for work. then remembered I was in perth and when they forecast storms we may get a drizzle haha. so didn’t take it. man i now feel dumb! πŸ˜›

it was one of the most amazing storms, and then the most beautiful sunset. the storm had lost most of it’s intensity by the time it got down my way though so no damage. didn’t even lose power despite everyone around me losing it- usually it’s the other way round. so i was laughing πŸ™‚

  2. Looks awesome Tone, cloud is spectacular and the golden colour of the crops is simply…golden hehe πŸ˜€

    • haha – strange that Flem.. Yeah I love a bit of a crop in a shot – adds detail and texture to a shot (compared to grass for example).

Cheers and enjoy you USA desert trip πŸ™‚

  3. awesome clouds mate, well captured.

    • hey Andrew,
Cheers mate – much appreciated… It took a lot more work to get to this spot than simply driving along a HWY and happen to come across some nice light and cloud. But worth it *phew* πŸ™‚
      cheers,

  4. Nice one mate!
