A rainbow during the day rarely excites, but one on twilight is something else. This one in particular was a ripper as the entire horizon glowed with pink and magenta hues I was trying to make the most of this fleeting moment with a couple of compositions to stitch together.

I love the ‘composition’ of this photo Tone….am a big fan of symmetry, the sun setting and rainbows….gorgeous!
Hi Carmel – It’s fantastic to read your comment, I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Getting the composition of this to work was quite difficult (this may sound silly to some – but trust me).The ‘weight’ of the handrail, rainbow and township all on one side. So i am stoked that you have also picked up on it and have appreciated this aspect.
cheers,
tone 🙂
opening up the photo to full size is incredible! superb shot, the colours are so vivid
Thanks Chloe – you should see the full res file… it’s wicked 🙂
Very dramatic Tony, nice work!
