Fog on the Cape…

An awesome display of morning fogs drifting and clinging over ‘the Cape’. The icy morning has mist rising off the comparatively ‘warm’ ocean in the foreground before quickly dissipating beneath the pastel hued dawn sun rays.

  1. Just lovely Tony. I love the way you frame the finished image.

  2. I love the way you capture both in words and pictures, images that are in our own ‘backyard’! I particularly like the way fog hides these images….forcing us to imagine what lies underneath these layers of mist. And, of course, the ‘artistic’ image is just as beautiful as the ‘real’ image….( if not more beautiful!!)

    • Hi Carmel,
We do live in a quite a spectacular region so it’s ever inspiring for me to get out and about shooting it (and beyond). Mist and fog certainly does possess a magically eerie yet beautiful quality.

      (dont sweat it I’ll edit/correct your comment/typo)

      Thanks and all the best,
      Tone πŸ™‚

  3. Sorry Tone….tautology wasn’t intended…..just one ‘underneath’ or ‘under’ would have sufficed.

  4. my kinda image Tony. Love that fog spilling over the headland. the misty water in the foreground is just that amazing little addition to turn up the magic that little bit more πŸ˜€

    • hey Stephen – yeah it was certainly very cool to witness, I also took some wider pans of the scene as well which I really like πŸ™‚
