River dawn…

I saw this Great Egret feeding in the river shadows amidst a dense fog and thought that the scene would make for a great artistic image. The light was extremely soft and filtered, the fog thick enough to really give the image a lot of mood and ‘infinity horizonless depth’. Whilst sharp detail is impossible in this visibility, I think it works and is what I had envisaged.
