Autumn grove…

I found this brilliant orchard of trees tucked up away in the hidden ranges. I shot this during a recent cold outbreak that saw snow falling in the area down to about 550m, with this spot at 700m. I was really hoping a cover would settle to really set the scene off with a complete northern hemisphere feel. But alas, even though it snowed and snowed, ย the snow was wet and the ground too warm for a notable cover.

So here it is a wonderful autumn scene.

  1. Absolutely stunning mate. Those warm tones are fantastic. What I really like though is those couple of leaves in the foreground that still have some green in them.

    • Yeh I’d really like to do that next year Mark, I think if I go in Autumn I could get these sorts of shots and also go to the Prom, is that where Tony takes alot of his shots? I really like all of the different compositions you can get there. It’d be cool fun.
