The first rays creep over the peaks to the east and strike the ridgeline of the razorback – a spectacular scene ignites before me.

That’s high man!:)
Yeah it’s awesome up there isn’t it Mark !
Pretty light Tony. Very warm and inviting. Can I trade for the snow that fell again this morning? hehe..
J
Still snowing there – sheesh. This scene will be under snow in about a month, depending on the season it can get a couple of meters deep. But umm… snow is cool – but I prefer warmth and heat more often thanks 🙂
Wow love that golden light falling on the mountain tops. Very captivating photo.
thanks Jamie !
I was aiming for something relatively simplistic at a glance, but more to it and detail when you gaze longer (esp. the case at full res.)
cheers,
This image is nothing short of breathtaking… So glad to see you out there shooting again and building your collection with new fresh images. Keep up the great quality of work.
thanks Ric – yep plenty of images again already 🙂
cheers,
Amazing. The trees on the right and the clouds on the left really make this shot. Would look great on a wall printed nice and big.
hey Ben – yeah some cool detail in close. How did your easter trip go ?
Beautiful image Tone
Thanks AB – looking fwd to some results from your trip mate 🙂

Wow, thats one grand landscape Tony. Wicked image.
thanks Hodgy !
Great point of view mate, the depth is amazing!
Hey Ben – Yeah I think the fog in the valleys helps with the depth.
cheers,
stunning Tony, nothing better then a scene like this first thing in the morning hey! used to love it down at the Stirling’s, just me, a few eagles, mountains and an awesome sunrise. i always rocked up at work with a pretty big smile on my face lol.
love the fog in the valley’s in this image too, and great exposure control.
Sounds delightful, they too are a pretty special place as you well know.
This was pretty speccy for subzero temps ! (doesn’t look that cold in the image – but it was !)
I like the fog too mate.
Cheers 🙂
