Can’t see the forest for the trees…
I have been wanting to and trying to take an image like this one for years – sometimes these melaleuca (ti-tree) patches can be like a dense forest. After many different attempts at different locations around Victoria I finally got what I was after. Dense, so dense that no light from the sky in the background penetrates in and unreal stick and bark debris on the floor – detail – yum! And then to top it off some wonderfully warm muted dawn light creeping in on to some of the trunks.
