twisted beauty…

The twisted and sprawled snowgum with the moss covered boulder are the features of this image. I was looking for trees with colour and specific character with these boulders in the shot as well and this scene here fitted the bill on both counts.

      I have a different approach to the blog currently so its great o read people such as yourself are appreciating or enjoying it.
      I love it up there when it’s all moody like this, snow or not it still has an awesome ‘surrealness’ to it I think.

      It worked out pretty well and thanks to the windblown mist and snow they were all wet, thus bringing out the colours and saturation – looked awesome !
