burning desire…

What a week it has been meteorologically in Victoria. I’ll rewind to last Sunday which was the beginning of a hot spell that saw several days where temperatures in parts of the state cracked over 41C with gale force hot northerly winds. These conditions lead to a spate of fires in Gippsland where unfortunately a few homes were lost in the east.

It also lead to me being able to shoot the image below as well as ‘Feel the heat’ which I posted earlier in the week. I like the spray of water from a blow hole in this take, which is obviously more impressive in the full resolution file.
