The great southern rail trail…
In Victoria old disused railway lines can often get redeveloped in to walking/cycline/horse riding trails. It’s a great initiative and encourages people to be active. In Gippsland alone there are several rail trails that take in some spectacular country.This is one of several images of parts of the Great Southern rail trail that I have taken between Leongatha and Foster in South Gippsland. I had wanted to photograph it for some time as my late father had an important role on the committee and tourism association in the days of getting it established.
