Otway stream…

The cool temperate rainforests of the Otway ranges have long been a favourite for the artistic and outdoors inclined. Lush green forests adorn the countless waterfalls and cascades in the region. Here’s is one from a while ago on a lovely rainy day. Another image with the new logo on it, this time the ‘positive’  file.

  1. NIcely blended in the tree branches there mate and nice composition as well!

    • hey Mark, I would have loved to have been able to compose it a touch better but nature didn’t build it that way so this is her 🙂

      cheers,

  2. i love it Tony.
this is my kind of creek image. i’m a sucker for the green mosses as i’ve probably harped on about before haha.
but this composition is fantastic as well.
love the tree coming across, and then there’s a little hint of the bigger waterfall in the background 😀

    • hey Stephen,
yeah its a bit different to over the south west, I wanted a shot that had more to it than a waterfall… sort of to take the viewer on a journey through the environment that makes the place. I hope that’s how you feel/viewed it.

      thanks bud 🙂

  3. Well controlled mate, good find here. Beautiful scene.

    • hey Andrew, yes gotta love the cool temperate rainforests – I do anyway !

      cheers,
      tone 🙂

  4. Fabulous shot Tony, great detail and colour.

    • hey Tom, yep the fullsize has some pretty sweet detail in it for sure.

      cheers,
      tone 🙂

  5. Well composed Tony, everything seems to sit so well in the frame. Great image

    • heya Luke,
Thanks mate, it was a bit of a precarious spot to try and fit the elements I wanted in the shot as well as possible without going single frame wide angle – crop. But I managed not to slip off the waterfall behind me so all good 🙂
      cheers,
