We stumbled upon this old bit of architecture out near Harrietville. Funnily enough we had all spotted it as a potential shot earlier on that day and stopped by there together to shoot it on the way ‘home’ on Friday.

oh this is nice. really like this one Tone 🙂
nicely seen, and i really like that touch of cloud in the top- it’s givin the image just that little bit more.
are these tree’s native’s of the region or have they all been planted?
i know there’s not many natives that drop their leaves like this in Oz. think the main one’s are in Tassie around cradle mountain aren’t they?
hey Stephen,
Most of these are planted species unlike the Nothofagus (beech) trees in parts of Tasmania.
cheers,
t 🙂
Like the clouds on the mountain Tony, the tree might have been lightened a little too much though.
hey fletch, yeah, looking at it now in less light I think you may be right. It was done using one of Tommy P’s little techniques. I’ll back it off a bit when I get a chance.
Thanks !
tone 🙂
