NT dreaming
Reading Flemming’s blog about him arriving in Australia and Darwin in particular this week has prompted me to look through a few images from my Top-end trip last year – a trip that I make each year. I can’t wait to return again before the end of the year !
Whilst this is not the best scan you’d ever see…but that’s it for now – as I am having some real computer troubles lately and need to reformat in the coming days to achieve anything usefull (time pending of course! ).

Great shot Tony… that reflection in the water is great. Gives you an idea what the sky is like where it has burnt out. Hope your standing in a boat taking this and not the edge of the waterline. 🙂
yeah Matt – a very ‘croccy’ place that one !
I took this on a rotating drum lens camera so limited settings and no filter options I decided that blowing a bit of the sky was more preferable than underexposing the rest of the scene.
Hi Tony Great shot as Matt mentioned and I also love how you always get more detail and richness of the colors in the reflections, great shot Ton.
Ooooh I love it!!! You also do such brilliant and original work with the 617 format. I say all 617 photographers should be banned from beaches and head inland and do great outback compositions like you do 😀
Nice reflection mate ,
Great shot
Hi Casey – cheers for stopping by and commenting on this one. 🙂
Thanks for such compliments Flemming ! I’m glad you liked it !
It was almost frustrating as it was our second sunset shoot that ended up at this place – both times there was impressive sunlit convection to the SE but we could not find a composition location to utilise this sky for the life of us…so we ended up shooting sunsets such as this instead – such is the top-end.
thanks Kirk !
